How much will my tattoo cost?
Price depends on several factors including size, placement, detail, and overall complexity. My current rates are on Booking page. If you have a specific budget, please mention it in your consultation form and I'll do my best design something that fits within in.
How long will it take for my tattoo to heal?
Healing times vary from person to person, but most tattoos take 3–4 weeks to fully heal and finish peeling.
Some tattoos may take longer depending on location, size, complexity, overall health, and aftercare. Following proper aftercare instructions can help ensure the best healing process.
What forms of Payment do you accept?
I accept Cash, Cashapp, Venmo and Zelle.
I also now accept card payments and installment payments through my affiliate booking link on Co. Create. Do keep in mind that there may be a $10 processing fee.
What Styles can you tattoo?
I currently specialize in Color Realism and Illustrative tattoos.
However I am open to other styles like Black & Grey, Traditional Japanese, and American Traditional.
I do not tattoo Lettering/Script, Micro, or tribal tattoos. But I’m happy to recommend other artists who do!
​Do you do Cover-Ups or Reworks of other artist’s tattoos?
I do accept cover-ups and reworks, but not every project can be taken on. Each request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis at my discretion. If I feel we’re a good fit, I’ll reach out to discuss the details further.
In some cases, I may recommend laser removal first to lighten the existing tattoo, making it easier to work with.
Can you cover up scars, moles, birthmarks, or other skin blemishes?
I can tattoo over scars depending on the condition of the tissue and your overall health. I do not tattoo over scars that are heavily keloided or still healing. Scar tissue can be more painful and may have a higher chance of ink rejection. I prefer to work with scars that are well-aged, flat, light in color, and settled into the skin.
I do not recommend tattooing over moles or other skin spots, as this can make it harder to monitor for changes or potential skin conditions like melanoma.
I will not tattoo over sunburns, outbreaks, or extremely damaged/dry skin.
Do you do Permanent Make-Up (PMU) or “Cosmetic Tattoos”?
No, I only offer traditional tattoo services. Permanent makeup (PMU) or cosmetic tattoos are a completely separate profession that requires different licensing, training, and skills.
Do you do Piercings?
No, I only offer tattoo services. Piercings are not offered at my studio. I highly recommend Shaman Modifications though for all piercings in the Austin area.
